At a glance

OSI is a group of talented people.

We’re more than just an organization which brings skilled employees together to solve meaningful problems for clients. We are that, for sure, but we’re also committed to our clients’ and our employees’ success. What does that commitment mean in the real world? For our clients, it means that we don’t overcharge them - we’ve even taken a loss in the past when we felt we weren’t able to deliver enough value. It also means that we hold ourselves to a high standard and that we have a culture of delivery. For our employees, it means we’re committed to them and also to their families. It means we’re committed to helping them grow in their careers and to helping them do great things outside of work too.

OSI Team

We are committed

What does that commitment mean?

For our clients, it means that we focus on delivering meaningful value and building long-term relationships rather than maximizing our short-term returns. It means we have a culture of delivery and hold ourselves to a high standard of excellence. For our employees, it means we’re committed to seeing them grow in their careers, be successful, and do meaningful things, whether at work or outside of it.

Meet the team: Matt Landheim

A technical virtuoso

Matt Landheim
Matt Landheim

Founder of Object Systems International

Matt is a technical virtuoso who is fiercely committed to his clients’ success. That’s probably why OSI’s first client is still a client today, more than 20 years later. Matt is also an autodidact with an insatiable curiosity. Ask him about any subject and there’s a decent chance he’s read a book on it.

Benjamin Toronto
Benjamin Toronto

CEO at Object Systems International

Ben is a consummate leader with a blue-chip pedigree which includes master’s degrees from elite programs and leadership positions at McKinsey & Co. and Microsoft. But Ben is no ladder-climber. He is both intensely independent and adventurous. Think Renaissance Man, not a box-checker.

Software Developer

"At OSI, I am able to work with many different and new technologies and greatly expand my own expertise. I also enjoy the freedom to make my work-life balance nearly perfect while working here. The various interesting projects give me the opportunity to go beyond what I’ve know so far and to venture into new fields which I never thought I’d get into. Overall, I’d always recommend OSI as a place to work, as well as if anyone needs a project done- the people here really know what they’re doing."

"There's no better place than OSI. I love working here because I am being valued and that for me means a lot. As a delivery manager, I love working next to engineers with can-do attitude and this is exactly what I see in our OSI culture. We recognize and stretch people strengths. We believe in team power and because of this we work hard to avoid bottlenecks."

Office Manager

"Being part of OSI made me gain skills and experience that I'm really grateful for. Met so much alert and skilled specialists with thirst to give their best and always looking for gaining new knowledge. Here I learned to fulfill a wide range of activities and duties from administrative work to organizing all company events, sponsorships, benefits, charity campaigns that the company and its employees support, etc. It's a pleasure for me to be part of the OSI family."

We will not be a good fit for every project

Who we are not

We understand that OSI will not be a good fit for every company or every project. Perhaps we don’t think we have the right skills to bring to bear on your problem. Perhaps your culture or way of doing things is not a good fit for ours. If so, that’s ok. We want you to be successful, even if you’re not our client. We are committed to performing a thorough evaluation of every serious inquiry, and we’ll be up front with you if we don’t feel we’re the right team to help you get what you need to done. If we do feel we’re a good fit, we’ll tell you that, too.

Values

WE DO THE RIGHT THING

We are ethical and honest with our clients and employees even when it leads to negative consequences for our business.

WE ARE MASTER BUILDERS

Great things don’t happen by accident. We strive to be experts in what we do. We hold ourselves to a high standard. We have a culture of delivery.

WE ARE PURPOSE-DRIVEN

We find meaning from being successful at things that matter—as individuals, teams and as an organization. We recognize that our work is just one part of the larger lives we’re building.

WE ARE A FAMILY

Not everyone will fit at OSI. We look for the best people, invest in them and treat them right. Our teams in the US and Bulgaria are like family. We empower people to direct their own course to success.

WE ARE TECHIES

We believe technology has the potential to change the world. We love solving hard problems with technology.
